Prospect of Industry Robot
Industrial robots are developing in the direction of intelligence, and intelligent industrial robots will become the commanding heights of technology and economic growth points in the future.
To keep up with future industrial development, industrial robot technology is the representative of advanced manufacturing technology. The first task is to improve the intelligent technology of industrial robots. Intelligent technology can improve the working ability and performance of robots. The development of intelligent technology will promote the progress of robot technology, and the level of intelligence in the future will mark the level of robots. Although there are still many problems to be solved, with the advancement of science and technology, it will gradually improve and develop. The direction of future intelligence will not change, and robot products will be expanded to more industries to form a complete system. In today’s environment where labor costs continue to rise in our country, industrial robots will develop rapidly and gradually become the main development form of factory automation production lines.
In recent days, Google (Google) of the United States has successively acquired a number of technology companies related to intelligent robots, which has attracted widespread attention from the outside world. The company is currently one of the most innovative and R&D technology companies in the world; although its well-known business scope is search, advertising and cloud computing, it has recently invested heavily in the intelligent robot industry. Professor Zhou Haizhong, a Chinese scholar, believes that it is the right time for Google to enter the field of intelligent robots. It sees the commanding heights of technology and economic growth points in the future.
According to the World Robotics Study 2012 released by the Federation of Robotics (IFR), at the end of 2011 there were at least 1,153,000 industrial robots in operation. This number is expected to reach 1,575,000 by the end of 2015.
According to 2011 estimates by the Federation of Robotics, sales of industrial robots are $8.5 billion. After including the costs of software, peripherals, and systems engineering, the annual turnover of robotic systems was estimated at $25.5 billion in 2011.
The Japanese government estimates that the industry could grow from about $5.2 billion in 2006 to nearly $26 billion in 2010 and balloon to $70 billion in 2025. In 2005, Japan had more than 370,000 industrial robots in operation. In the 2007 National Technology Development Roadmap, the Ministry of Trade called for the installation of 1 million industrial robots across the country by 2025.
