The BS5163 Non-rising Stem Resilient Seated Gate Valve with Brass Nut Type is a specific type of gate valve

featuring a flexible wedge for its on-off disc, which moves in a perpendicular direction to the flow. These

valves are designed for full open or full close positions and are operated manually using a handwheel. They

find extensive application across various industries, with a strong presence in water supply projects, public

infrastructure, water treatment plants, fire-fighting systems, among others. Prosper Flow specializes in

Durable Ductile Iron Core: The ductile iron core is fully vulcanized with EPDM rubber, ensuring that no

iron parts come into contact with the medium. This excellent rubber vulcanization prevents creeping

corrosion beneath the rubber surface.

Guided Closure: Guides integrated into the wedge and the valve body facilitate uniform closure, promoting

safe operation by preventing stem overload.

High-Strength Stainless Steel Stem: The valve features a stainless steel stem with rolled threads,

offering exceptional strength.

Pressure Seal Replacement: It’s possible to replace stem seals even under pressure, enhancing

maintenance efficiency.

Clear Body Marking: The valve boasts clear and easily legible body markings. The castings originate from

the same foundry as AVK Valve and Spain TALIS, ensuring quality consistency.

Online Replaceability: The valve can be replaced online while fully pressurized and with the valve in the

fully opened position. Three O-rings protect the upper stem from impurities entering from the waterway.

Thorough Testing: Each valve undergoes 100% testing and qualification before packaging and delivery,

ensuring its reliability and performance.
