At the ceremony, Shizuoka Prefecture Governor Kawakatsu Heita, Hamamatsu City Mayor Suzuki Yasutomo, etc. attended the ceremony and prayed for the start of construction.

As the world’s third production base for the production of precision reducer RV™, the new factory in Hamamatsu City is based on the concept of “smart factory with manufacturing innovation and high evaluation of SDGs”. After completion in September 2023 (planned), Promoting the introduction of production equipment in turn, it is expected to achieve a production capacity of 1.2 million units per year by 2030.

With the increasing demand for less labor and automated production, the demand for precision reducers is continuing to increase, and this demand is expected to increase further in the future. In addition, the production capacity of the three production bases of the Hamamatsu Plant, the Mie County Tsu Plant, and the Changzhou Plant in Jiangsu Province, China, is expected to increase to an annual output of 2.34 million units in 2030, which can fully meet the medium and long-term production needs of customers.
