Second, manufacturing investment continued to grow steadily. In the first quarter, the added value of my country’s industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 3% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 0.3 percentage points higher than that in the fourth quarter of 2022, and the overall stabilization and recovery. From the industry perspective, the production of general equipment, automobiles, and chemical fiber industries turned from a year-on-year decline in the previous two months to growth, and the growth rate of non-ferrous metals, building materials, electrical machinery, and special equipment industries accelerated compared with the previous two months. From a regional perspective, production in the eastern and northeastern regions has further recovered. Among the top ten provinces in the scale of industrial added value, 6 provinces saw their industrial growth rate higher than the national level in the first quarter. In the next step, we will focus on the following tasks.
