High performance, industrial wide temperature

A study from IDC shows that by 2025, IoT-connected devices will generate 73.1ZB of data. Advantech’s SQF 930 and ER-1 series are designed with the fourth-generation PCIe specification, which doubles the data flow performance compared to previous-generation solutions. In addition, this series of solutions are available in M.2 2280 and U.2 (SFF-8639) sizes to suit different needs. In order to adapt to various industrial application scenarios, SQFlash also provides different types of general performance, intensive read functions, multi-functional design options, etc., enabling edge storage devices to keep up with a large number of different types of real-time streaming data sources.

In addition, the SQF 930 and ER-1 series can support 3-order DWPD and 1-order DWPD specifications to meet various industrial needs. The series also supports wide temperature operation (-40~85°C) for mission critical applications. Finally, Advantech’s ER-1 series is certified for low power consumption, meeting current ESG expectations for high power and low emissions.

With industrial heat sinks, data security solutions are provided

The global edge AI hardware market is expected to reach approximately $4 billion by 2029. At the same time, the development of AI technology has also increased the power consumption and heat generation of edge devices. To this end, the SQF 930 and ER-1 series use thermal glue with excellent mechanical flexibility, avoiding the risk of physical damage to SSD components during sudden temperature changes. Thermal throttling design combined with real-time I/O scaling effectively balances cooling and performance requirements. In addition, the advent of the Internet of Things has brought unprecedented levels of interconnectivity, which has also increased security risks. The SQF930 and ER-1 series will address such challenges by protecting data stored on SQFlash SSDs. Specific implementation method: Provide real-time monitoring support, and adopt a complete, SSD firmware-level security solution.

Main features of SQF 930:

  • NVMe M.2 2280 (M key)
  • Compatible with NVME1.4
  • AES-256 support + TC-OPAL compatible
  • Support LDCP & RAID ECC
  • Heat dissipation scheme with thermal conductivity design
  • Support DeviceOn/SQ Manager intelligent software

SQF ER-1 main features:

  • NVMe M.2 2280 (M key) and U.2 (SFF-8639)
  • Compatible with NVME1.4
  • AES-256 support + TC-OPAL compatible
